Make an Appointment
Appointments can be made for either our Selfridges or Knightsbridge salons directly by phone. If our lines are busy, or your call is made out of working hours, please leave a message and a member of our team will do their best to get back to you as soon as possible.
We require credit card details to hold your booking.
Pre-appointment
If you have not visited one of our salons before, we request that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment in order to fill in our client consultation form.
All clients are requested to arrive on time for any future appointments to ensure that our other customers are not inconvenienced by delays. Late arrival will therefore merely reduce the time available for your treatment.
Every hour and 1/2 hour treatment includes 5 minutes pre & post-prep. For Groom 1/2 hours please choose your polish before your treatment.
Post-appointment
If you are having a manicure or pedicure we recommend that you add at least 10 minutes onto the end of your appointment for a moment under our nail dryers. It is also advisable to wear open toe sandals rather than shoes.
Pricing
If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us or ask reception at one of the salons.
Groom reserves the right to alter pricing structures and discontinue or amend treatments to ensure we are providing you with the most up-to-date service possible. Again, do not hesitate to contact us with any queries.
Cancelling an appointment
Cancellation Policy
Appointments may be cancelled by calling a member of our team on the numbers listed (see contact us), and we will do our best to re-arrange for a more convenient time. Unfortunately we require at least twenty-four hours notice to cancel appointments. Clients who are unable to provide such notice will be liable for 50% of the treatment value.
Groom guide - FAQS
Making your mind up
Groom is keen to accommodate its services to fit in with busy lifestyles. If you have booked a particular treatment but once you arrive realise there is something else we could do for you either instead, or as well, do not hesitate to let one of our therapists know. Although it may not always be possible, we will do our best to ensure your time in the salon is as well spent as we can.
Personalised packages
It is possible to exchange most of the manicure or pedicure treatments included in our hour-long two therapist packages with an alternative that particularly takes your fancy. Depending on circumstances it may sometimes be possible to exchange other elements of the package, although this is not something we can guarantee. Do not hesitate to consult your therapist on arrival to find out more.
Of course...
Naturally, all Groom hours, 1/2 hours and facials are available as courses, please ask for more details.
What not to wear
If you are having a pedicure it is advisable to wear appropriate shoes to ensure against smudges (see also post appointment). Other than that we advise that you wear whatever is most comfortable. We will provide all guests with a 'spa smock', and shorts are also available on request.
Barefaced cheek
Wearing make-up before a facial is not a problem, as our therapists will have you cleansed, toned and moisturised in minutes. Wearing make-up immediately after a facial is normally not a problem either, although we would advise you to keep your face make-up free immediately after both our Skin Blitz Microdermabrasion and Combined Power facials. Both treatments involve a deep cleansing exfoliation after which it is good to let skin breathe.
At the end of every facial therapists apply 'facial finishers', these can be gloss, mascara, or whatever little cosmetic essential you cannot bare to be without!
Every second counts
Remember late arrival merely reduces the time available for your treatment...
Tipping tips
Tipping is obviously optional, and should depend on the quality of service received. If however you are satisfied that your therapist deserves a gratuity, somewhere between 15-20% is fairly standard.
Cold feet
It's absolutely no problem if you want to cancel or alter an appointment, but please give us as much notice as possible. Remember there is a cancellation fee if you give us less than 24 hours notice (see cancellation policy).
